Two week summer bootcamp (July 19-22 and July 26-29, 2021)

Curious about what a career in data science looks like? Come participate in a two week PAID exploration that will include a week-long bootcamp in core data science fundamentals from statistics and computer science.

Imhotep Academy Summer Session – Neuroscience: The Human Brain

June 21-24, 2021; 9 am to 11:30 am

Virtual unless premitted to offer at The Science House, Centennial Campus, Raleigh, NC

Middle school students will learn the skills it takes to be a neuroscientist through hands-on investigations, an engineering challenge, and research on brain diseases.  Participants will explore careers within the field of neuroscience. All programming will take place in Zoom. Registration opens February 1 and closes April 30th.

Imhotep Academy Summer Session: Prosthetics Engineering and Design

July 12-16, 2021, 9 am to 11:30 am

Virtual unless premitted to offer at The Science House, Centennial Campus, Raleigh, NC

Middle school students will learn about the skeletal muscular system and the engineering design process. Using limited materials, students will apply knowledge learned and engineering principles to build and test prosthetic models. Participants will learn about careers within the field of biomedical engineering and robotics. All programming will take place in Zoom.
