Description: The NCDPI Digital Learning and Competencies for Classroom Teachers requires that teachers know and use appropriate digital tools and resources for instruction.  

Participants of this workshop will learn to utilize the digital capabilities of Vernier Probeware to integrate the use of scientific equipment to collect and analyze data on student 1:1 devices.

In this hands on workshop, Educators will learn how to use vernier newest wireless innovations to:

  • Design technology-enriched learning experiences
  • Lead Students in becoming active participants in managing their learning and assessing their progress
  • Challenge students to create, think critically, solve problems, establish reliability, communicate their ideas and to collaborate.
  • Use tools to collect and analyze authentic data

Teachers who participate in this training become eligible to utilize The Science House loan program where they can check out and use classroom sets of scientific equipment and probeware.
