Description: The Smithsonian Institution’s Lemelson Center, The National Academy of Inventors (NAI) and The Science House invite you and your students to engage in hands-on STEAM learning opportunities built around the exploration and process of invention!

The Smithsonian’s Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation unveiled its “Change Your Game”/ “Cambia Tu Juego” exhibition in March 2024. The exhibition introduces the vital role of motivations, inventors, and inventions, in the history of sports to empower visitors to explore their own inventiveness and  become "game changers" in their daily lives.

Hosted at NAI’s annual convention, these engaging learning sessions—facilitated by the Lemelson Center’s informal education team and focused on Change Your Game concepts—will allow students to design, build and explore their inventive identities in a fun and unique setting.

DATE: June 17 and 18

TIME: 90-minute lessons during one of the following blocks of time:
