Science, Sustainability, and STEM Careers! This event is part of the NC Science Festival, inspiring the next generation of environmental scientists and conservation leaders.

Join us for an exciting hands-on STEM experience where middle school students will explore North Carolina’s forests through interactive activities:
🌳 Build a 3D forest ecosystem model
🌳 Collect urban forest inventory data at Dorothea Dix Park and analyze data in CODAP!
🌳 Map forests using GIS technology
🌳 Meet forestry and environmental science experts

    • 👥 Open to: Middle school students (pre-registration required)
