Raleigh Office Presents: Using Makey Makey to Target Invention Literacy

Grade Level(s): K-12

Date(s): February 13, 2018 9am-4pm

Location: The Science House (in Raleigh Area)

Cost: $85 (with a free Makey Makey (a $50 value) if you register by January 25, 2018)

Description: Join us for a day of exploration and invention using a device called a Makey Makey. With the Makey Makey, students can make any conductive material act as the input device for a computer. Because it comes preprogrammed, students with no coding experience can use it and learn to experiment with it as they start to learn coding. Capitalize on the maker movement in your classroom.  Teachers joining us will be able to check out Makey Makey kits to use in their classrooms.  Jason Painter of The Science House will be conducting this workshop.
