Description: Data shapes how students learn, work and make decisions across all disciplines. The 2026 NC Data Science Education Summit, happening October 16th at NC State University, brings educators, students and researchers together to explore how data science can show up in any classroom, from computer science and CTE to math, social studies, science, the humanities, and beyond.

The summit will help educators build the mindset and skills their students need to ask questions, interpret information, recognize patterns and uncertainty, and make evidence-based decisions using authentic data.

Earn CEU credit while connecting with students and educators from across North Carolina and explore practical strategies to bring more data into your classroom!

Educators may also apply to bring a limited number of students to participate fully in this interdisciplinary event. Student participants will receive a certificate recognizing their participation.

Support for Educators

Support is available for substitute reimbursement, and hotel accommodations are available for NC teachers traveling more than 50 miles to attend.
