Imhotep Academy is a year-round middle school enrichment program that introduces students to the world of STEM with a particular emphasis on reaching underserved and students historically underrepresented in STEM disciplines. Imhotep aims to increase students’ awareness and enthusiasm for learning STEM, build students’ confidence and identity in STEM, and inspire students to continue studying STEM throughout high school and college. Participants engage in a variety of activities including hands-on investigations, laboratory tours, field trips, leadership, college readiness, and interactions with STEM professionals.

Grade(s):

6th – 8th Grade Students

Program Format:

Four Academy sessions are offered throughout the year. Fall and Spring sessions meet Saturday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Summer and Algebra sessions meet for one week in June and one week in July from 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Fee:

The Early Registration Fee is $175.

The Standard Registration Fee is $225.

For all payments a processing fee of $6.00 applies. Registration fees are non-refundable; however, unused registration fees can be applied to future program sessions.
