Kyran Anderson Academy Track Out Program
Kyran Anderson Academy Track Out Program is a weekly STEM enrichment program for kindergarten through fifth grade students designed to enhance students’ enthusiasm and preparation for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). During each day of Kyran Anderson's Track Out Program, students will actively discover the wonder of STEM through inquiry-based activities, field trips, presentations, and career exploration activities with STEM educators.
The Registration Fee for a day of Kyran Anderson is $60.
The Weekly Registration Fee is $280.
For all payments a processing fee of $6.00 applies.
Registration fees are non-refundable; however, unused registration fees can be applied to future program sessions.

“How is the Kyran Anderson Academy Track Out Program different from the standard Kyran Anderson Program?” Kyran Anderson Track Out is a pilot program designed to gauge the interest for year-round STEM enrichment at the elementary level.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”What does my registration fee cover?” class=”in”] The daily cost of $60 for the program covers activities for that programming day between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The weekly registration fee of $280 covers all of the programming for the entire week, and includes a Kyran Anderson Academy t-shirt.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”How many students are in each session?”]The registration for each session can support a maximum of 25 students. There is also a minimum number of students (13) for each programming session to go forward. If a programming session does not meet the minimum number parents will be notified that the session may be cancelled. [/toggle]
[toggle title=”Who is teaching the session?”]The sessions will be taught by a mixture of certified local teachers and students from NC State. The students will include both graduate and undergraduate students. All teaching staff will have undergone a rigorous background check process.[/toggle]

[toggle title=”What does the programming day look like?”]The typical Kyran Anderson Track Out day will consist of hands-on STEM experiments, art explorations, physical activities, meaningful technology use, and reflection/reading time. The programming day will begin at 9:00 AM and dismissal will occur at 4:00 PM.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”What things does my child need to bring?”]Each student should bring lunch and two snacks, a water bottle, a book, and a towel or small blanket for reflection/reading time.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Is there a dress code for the program?”]Because some of our work takes place in laboratories, it is essential that students wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Any student without the proper clothing will have to contact their parent/guardian(s).[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Are meals or snacks provided?”]Meals and snacks are not provided. Students should pack a lunch and two snacks for the programming day. We also encourage students to have breakfast before they arrive.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Do you offer before and/or after care?”]For an additional fee, both before care and after care are offered by the program. Before care is from 7:30 – 9:00 AM, while after care is offered from 4:30 – 6:00 PM. Families can register for before and after care in the Track Out Registration Portal as a ‘Program Option.'[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Does my child have to participate every day of the program?”]No! The Kyran Anderson Track Out Program is designed so that each day can serve as a stand-alone set of STEM learning. However, registering for the full week of programming will offer the most complete experience.[/toggle]
