2019 Summer Courses:

Modeling Physics (Mechanics) - July 15-26, 2019 - Raleigh, NC

UPDATE - The previously scheduled Modeling Biology and Chemistry workshops have been cancelled for 2019. We do hope to offer these workshops again. Please check back with us later this calendar year for updates on future courses.

The workshop will be 10 days in length (Monday - Friday of each week) and cover 60 hours of professional development (six hours per day). Anticipated workshop hours are 9 AM to 4 PM.

The Mathematics and Science Partnership (MSP) program which previously supported our North Carolina Modeling workshops has come to an end, therefore we now must charge a registration fee to cover the costs of this professional development. Please note the registration fee does not include housing, it is the professional development fee only.

Registration Fees:

  • $700 per course to be paid by credit card or check

Registration fees may be paid by credit card using the NCSU Reporter system. There is also a registration option for "pay later" in which an invoice is generated and you may pay by check. Additional information is included in the application link below. The total balance must be paid at least two weeks prior to the course start date or the registration may be cancelled.

Participants are responsible for their own travel and housing needs. Please contact Scott Ragan if you have questions about possible options.
