Welcome to GAPS –– Geospatial Applications for Problem Solving!
Our unique program offers a free eight-week experience for high school students eager to get involved in one of the most exciting fields spurred by cutting-edge technologies: geospatial mapping and analysis.
The 8-week semester program meets on 8 Saturday mornings from 9-Noon. Students will have the opportunity to meet geospatial scientists and professionals, work with advanced mapping technologies, and work on real-world projects using the latest tools. Check out the sample schedule. Students from under-represented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. Space is limited to 20 students.
