Description: Bring Marine Technology and Design into your classroom with Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE). This workshop is designed for upper and elementary teachers who would like to use ROVs (underwater robots) to teach engineering design, physical science and 21st century problem solving skills to their classrooms or afterschool programs. Participants will learn how they can form a team to participate in the Coastal Carolina Regional MATE ROV competition and be eligible to check out and use a classroom set of ROVs using our Equipment Loan Program.
