Description: Inference about causation is important in many disciplines such as science, education, medicine, and economics. This 3-day workshop provides an introduction to statistical methods to conduct causal inference that has revolutionized the way in which statisticians and practitioners in many disciplines use data to make inferences about causal relationships. But, be careful…be careful…be careful! This is because standard statistical tools you have learned in class such as regression can only give your correlation instead of causation! Now join us to learn novel statistical methods to decrypt causation and correlation to enhance your statistics curriculum!
