The National Center for Science Education presents Turning Misinformation into Education: Leveraging Fake News to Teach Climate Change (hosted by The Mountain Office of The Science House)

March 17, 2020 (9am-3pm)

This workshop will lead science educators through a series of free lessons created by teachers and for teachers that tackle much of the fake news and arguments leveraged against climate change. You will also leave with ideas on how to increase student understanding of the science behind climate change through literacy, data analysis, and hands-on activities.

Mountain Satellite Office: STEM to Your Doorstep (K-12)

Join us to explore various types of probes, technologies, and software to enhance STEM in your school. We will also explore how to integrate STEM into your specific curriculum. Participants are eligible to check out the equipment for free.
